Hello guys, sorry for being MIA for over 2 weeks. My laptop has been troubling me a lot lately and it just stopped working completely 2 weeks back, I managed to take my friend’s laptop and get back to blogging. So, it’s Valentine’s Day tomorrow and I’m sure you people must have special plans for your loved ones. For me, it will be a usual day at work followed by a dinner date at night.
For those who do not have any plans for tomorrow or are happily single, why don’t you take out time to pamper yourself for being the awesome person you are? Dedicate the day of love to yourself by treating yourself to a good movie or having good food or trying out some skincare products to pamper your skin.
I’ve been trying some new skincare products from a skincare brand recently and I’m loving them a lot. The brand has some amazing skincare products that are SLS, Paraben, Phthalates and cruelty-free.
All their products are made with completely safe and natural ingredients which is why I decided to include them in my skincare regimen and see how they work for my skin. The brand is called Fuchsia by Vkare Biosciences and they have a range of skincare products to offer.
I have 4 items from their skincare product range-
- Fuschia Peppermint Pedicare Nourishing Foot Cream
- Fuschia Activated Charcoal Detoxifying Face and Body Scrub
- Fuschia Blueberry Bloom Bath Salt, and
- Fuschia Lavender and Calendula Hydrating Face Gel
I am currently using all of these as a part of my skincare routine except the bath salt which I intend to use it this weekend. I’m going to review the other three products here, keep reading:
Fuschia Peppermint Pedicare Nourishing Foot Cream
Price: INR 250
Key Ingredients: Olive Oil, Sunflower Oil, Bees Wax, Aloe Vera, Shea Butter, Mint Oil, Alum, Camphor, Ginger OIl, Vitamin E
I’ve no idea about you all but for me, my feet are the most neglected areas of the body. My feet tend to get very rough and dry. Also, they get tanned very easily which is why I avoid wearing sandals and wear closed shoes often. However, after using the Fuschia Peppermint Pedicare Nourishing Foot Cream, I can see that the roughness and the dryness is gone and my feet feels smoother than before. This product doesn’t really help much with the tanning problem though.
As you can see in the image above, the product comes in a travel-friendly, transparent square tub with a screw cap. The cream has a thick consistency and a typical rosy smell which I am not really fond of. The cream gets absorbed into the skin easily which is great.
Fuschia Activated Charcoal Detoxifying Face and Body Scrub
Price: INR 75
Key Ingredients: Aloe Vera, Vegetable Glycerine. Wheatgerm Oil, Charcoal Powder, Olive Oil, Almond Peel
I always wanted to try out a charcoal scrub. I ‘ve only used a charcoal face pack before and though I liked the product, the fragrance was not good. Luckily for the Fuschia Activated Charcoal Detoxifying Face and Body Scrub that I’m using currently, it is not the case. The smell is very pleasant. The product comes in a round plastic jar which reminds me of the Vicks Vaporub jar. The scrub spreads on the skin easily and a little product can be worked on the full face and body.
I love how the scrub cleans my skin and face. Right now only 10% of the product is left because I use it very often. This product works great on my oily skin and I’m definitely going to repurchase this. Also, the price of the product is quite reasonable.
Fuschia Lavender and Calendula Hydrating Face Gel
Price: INR 75
Key Ingredients: Aqua, Aloe Vera, Calendula Flower Extract, Arnica Oil, Lavender Oil, Rosemary Oil, Vitamin E
This product gives a cooling sensation the moment it touches my skin. The packaging and price is same as the Fuschia Activated Charcoal Detoxifying Face and Body Scrub reviewed above. The gel has a light pinkish tinge and the consistency is thick. The smell of this product is a turnoff for me but people who really like lavender fragrance might like this.
I’ve noticed that the Fuschia Lavender and Calendula Hydrating Face Gel takes some time to get absorbed into the skin but once absorbed, the skin does not feel dry or sticky as I’ve observed this while using Aloe Vera gels. I think this product will work great on the irritated and sunburnt skin by soothing it instantly.
That’s all from my end folks, pour in your thoughts about the Fuschia by Vkare products and let me know whether you’d like to try them or not!
